The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Makerere University has been renewed for a second phase from 2023 to 2034. The second phase of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program will offer 1000 scholarships to young African women and men who are admitted to both the Undergraduate and Graduate Academic Programmes at Makerere University's Main Campus. The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program aims to deepen inclusive University education and empower young people to transform into leaders who will make meaningful contributions to national and regional development.
